Job Description:
As an integral part of the business team, you will develop new skills encompassing elements of HR, Finance, Sales, Marketing & Business Operations, but ultimately guided by your interest and specialty. You will apply your existing skills in current projects, daily decisions and daily collaborative sessions, as well as taking your own initiative to bring new ideas to the table. Working with our business team as your mentors, you will take on strategic and challenging project tasks, reaching specific goals for the duration of your time with Rigorous.
Rigorous is looking for a self-motivated individual who has excellent communication skills and will embrace the opportunity to learn. You will be highly organized with the ability to prioritize and multitask based on the current needs of the business operations and management teams.
Responsibilities:
- Human Resources tasks from recruiting to policy implementation, as well as maintaining records.
- Financial activities and analysis as needed to support the business needs and project functions.
- Draft and edit social media posts, newsletter articles, and blogs, including website, photos, videos and graphic design.
- Research prospective customers, industries and creating internal resources to support the sales function.
- CRM data management and reporting.
- Business Operations process creation, implementation and improvement.
- Building, collating and presenting reports as needed.
Requirements:
- Rising College Senior with a major in Business Administration, Business Management, Financial Management, Human Resources, Sales & Marketing or other related business field.
- Exceptional work ethic, ability to work independently or collaborative, motivation to meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and listening skills.
